Thank you to my fellow veterans and their families today and every day.

When I entered the military over forty years ago, I wanted to pay back my country for taking care of my mom, my sister, and me after the loss of my Dad.

My career in the military defines my life and provided me with unique experiences. Serving my country first as an army infantryman, then as an Air Force navigator, provided insight into our nation's defense, and interest in foreign policy.  I served nearly six years overseas and grasped how different American ideology is from other countries.

My duties, and the oath to which I swore when I agreed to serve my country, were to honor and defend this great country and every person, regardless of their beliefs.

As a veteran, my country and all who live here, are my priority.  Many of my fellow veterans have needs and issues specific to those who have served our country.  I'm listening, and I'd like to be your voice in Washington.

As an American, I understand the needs we have every day.  The breadth and depth of my experiences provide me with a unique background for the critical job of representing you.  It would be my honor and privilege to continue my service to our country as your U.S. Congressional Representative.
